Joan Saunders, Principal and Founder, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Joan founded JS Occupational Therapy in 2007 with a vision to provide quality Occupational Therapy services in a fully supported and dynamic environment. With more than 24 years’ experience working in the insurance, disability and government sectors as an Occupational Therapist, Joan specializes in catastrophic medical legal cases, as well as in Future Cost of Care and Home Modification Assessments. She is C-CAT Functional Observer certified.
Montana Mullane, OT/Operations Manager, B.Sc. Kin, MSc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Montana graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy after receiving her Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Montana joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2017. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of adults and children with mental illness, cognitive impairments, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Montana is C-CAT Functional Observer certified, certified to perform Functional Abilities Evaluations and also specializes in assessments of cognitive function.
Josh Melo, BKin, MPK, MScOT, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Josh graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy after receiving his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Professional Kinesiology. Josh joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2022. He has experience in the assessment of adults and adolescents with mental illness, cognitive impairments, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Josh is certified to perform Functional Abilities Evaluations and also specializes in non-catastrophic assessments.
Meghan Passmore, B.Sc., MSc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Meghan graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and previously earned an Honours Bachelor of Health Science with a concentration in Global Health. Meghan joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2024. She brings experience in evaluating adults and adolescents across a range of conditions, including mental health issues, cognitive impairments, chronic diseases, orthopedic, and soft tissue injuries. Meghan also specializes in non-catastrophic assessments, providing comprehensive and specialized care to meet diverse client needs.
Andrew Campbell, BSc OT Reg. (Ont.)
Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy at the University of Toronto in 1996. He has worked for over 25 years as an OT in community-based settings, with a focus on adults and seniors, Canadian veterans, managing therapy teams and program development. He has training and experience in the areas of physical rehabilitation, mental health, chronic diseases and traumatic brain injury. He specializes in auto industry assessments, discharge planning, home safety assessments and mental health treatment. He is PGAP and ADP certified.
Michelle Fortier, B.A., Office Administrator
Michelle joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2016. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. Michelle has an extensive varied work history from Sales, Research, Editing to Management. Her extensive skills lend themselves well to the team at JS Occupational Therapy.
Carrie Ann Reid, Office Administrator
Carrie Ann joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2021 and she has over 20 years’ of valuable experience working in the Independent Medical Evaluations industry as Senior Intake Coordinator. Her other skill sets include an extensive knowledge of the Ontario SABs as well as an accounting and administrative background that have proven to be a great asset to the team at JS Occupational Therapy.
Fadi Hamamji, Office Administrator
Fadi joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2021. He brings with him an Economics Degree and an MBA as well as a diverse work experience in developing and growing businesses. Fadi’s ambition, curiosity and planning skills make him a great fit to our growing team at JS Occupational Therapy.
