Joan Saunders, Principal and Founder, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Joan founded JS Occupational Therapy in 2007 with a vision to provide quality Occupational Therapy services in a fully supported and dynamic environment. With more than 24 years’ experience working in the insurance, disability and government sectors as an Occupational Therapist, Joan specializes in catastrophic medical legal cases, as well as in Future Cost of Care and Home Modification Assessments. She is C-CAT Functional Observer certified.
Carrie Ann Reid, Office Administration Manager/Billing and Accounts Receivable
Carrie Ann joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2021 and she has over 20 years’ of valuable experience working in the Independent Medical Evaluations industry as Senior Intake Coordinator. Her other skill sets include an extensive knowledge of the Ontario SABs as well as an accounting and administrative background that have proven to be a great asset to the team at JS Occupational Therapy.
Susan Brown, Office Administrator, RPN
Susan joined JS Occupational Therapy in March 2026 and brings with her over 20 years' of valuable experience in the Independent Medical Examinations Industry. She has extensive experience dealing with Catastrophic AB Files as well as Medical Legal and Disability Files. A strong knowledge of the Ontario SABs as well as valuable medical terminology and administrative background that will prove to be an amazing asset to the team at JS Occupational Therapy.
Matthew Chan, Occupational Therapist, B.Sc. Kin, MSc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Matthew graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney in Australia after receiving his Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Matthew joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2025. He has experience in the assessment and treatment of adults and children with mental illness, brain injury, cognitive impairments, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Matthew is certified to perform Functional Abilities Evaluations and specializes in assessments of cognitive Function.
Taranpreet Chadha, Occupational Therapist, BA Kin, MSc. OT, OT Reg. (ONT).
Taranpreet graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy after receiving her Honors Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. She has been practicing Occupational Therapy since 2012. Taranpreet joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2025. She has clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with orthopedic, soft-tissue and neurological injuries in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, inpatient rehabilitation and home health care.
Kaitlyn Donnelly, MSc (OT), OT Reg. (Ont.)
Kaitlyn Donnelly is a registered occupational therapist and McGill University graduate who is affiliated with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She specializes in home and community-based assessments, with experience supporting individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, orthopaedic conditions, and mental health challenges.
Kaitlyn has worked across public and private sectors, including in remote communities throughout Northern Ontario and Quebec. She is skilled in conducting functional and environmental assessments, prescribing adaptive equipment, and recommending home modifications to enhance safety and independence. Her culturally sensitive, client-centred approach ensures practical and meaningful outcomes.
